ICGA Came into being as a result of hte combined efforts of a friendly group of golfers from the South Asian Community of the GTA. We have played together before and raised hundreds of thousands of Dollars over the past few years for various charities. We want to continue along the same path with a slightly different brand image.
ICGA's goal is to involve the maximum number of participants who are in turn assured of having the best golf experience on some of the best golf courses around GTA. Besides golf, there will be the extras - dinner / drinks entertainment, prizes, gifts, trophies and recognition for players and sponsors alike. The event is organized by the Golfers for the Golfers.
The Annual golf Tournament is also being designed as an ideal occasion to do effective networking for business and professionals alike, all while in the company of a great group of people. You can also feel proud that the ICGA will be supporting deserving charities both here in Canada and in India wherever possible.
ICGA is a non-profit alliance, where tournament fees are collected just to cover the actual expenses of the tournament. If any amount is left surplus, a certain amount will be allocated towards charity and for the following year's tournament.
Indo Canadian Golf Alliance (ICGA) has been giving Toronto's local professional and amateur golfers the opportunity to develop their tournament skills in a PGA Tour-like environment without the added costs of travelling. ICGA is providing junior, amateur and professional golfers the opportunity to learn how to win locally and to build their confidence to play at the highest level possible, whether it be claiming their Amateur Division Title or moving on to play on Worldwide Major Tours
